About Me

Welcome to my website. I’m an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Providence College in Rhode Island in the U.S. I moved here in 2011 from the University of Chicago, where I worked since gaining my Ph.D from Cardiff University in 2006. I work on issues in the philosophy of Wittgenstein, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, epistemology, and ethics, with additional interests in Ancient Greek literature and philosophy and philosophy of science. I am currently the editor of the “Ludwig Wittgenstein” category on PhilPapers.

In my spare time, I used to enjoy the odd game of cricket for the Cardiff Casuals, but since my twins Lloyd and William were born, I spend most of my time chasing them around the local park.
